November marks the third meeting of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee where the Plastics Treaty is being negotiated. The first text has just been released, which means it is now crucial for young people and civil society to pay attention to the details of what their delegates are representing inside the negotiating rooms.
The Break Free From Plastic Movement March is being organized by a coalition of youth leaders, civil society groups, waste pickers, and activists that are working together to show the world that they have uncompromisable demands to ensure that this treaty is an ambitious and effective instrument.
